How to light a charcoal for grill with a starter kit without chimney
- Put one or two cubes of charcoal fire starter blocks on the lower grill.
- Stack some 5-8 big pieces of charcoal over the starter blocks.
- Next light the starter blocks and leave it to burn till 5 minutes. You will see that the charcoal above the starter blocks have caught fire in this time. If some charcoal have caught fire you are good to go to the next step.
- Stack more charcoal over it and make a bigger heap on top of it.
- Leave this to burn the rest of charcoal for about 25 to 35 minutes.
- If all the charcoal is burning without smoke, it means you are ready to grill. Spread the charcoal evenly on the base grill and put the cooking grill and starting grilling.
Indoor tips/hack:
If you are doing the barbeque in your backyard or if you have access to any normal household power source. You could use your hair dryer to fan the charcoal to speed up the burning in step 6.
